FIRST DRAFT FINISHED.
I am at the same time happy and sad, exhausted and elated, dreading the oncoming editing, but knowing that getting through the first draft is one of the hardest parts because blank paper is horrifically daunting.
It still needs a TON AND A HALF of work if not more to make it readable, but I will be setting the next goals for that very soon.
But as promised, tomorrow I will be posting the story premise. For those of you who’ve cheered me on in my little boat (and also when my goal boat sank at the end) I can’t wait to share what I’ve been cryptically writing about for the past 55+ days.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you for your encouragement and excitement. Thank you for standing beside me when I was sleep deprived, discouraged, delirious and prone to forgetting during my ridiculous writing schedule. For all of that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My greatest and final hope is that this story will find it’s way into your hands sometime in the near future and you can say to yourself, ‘yeah, I was there when she did this. I’m as much a part of this story as any of the characters’.
Believe me, that credit is all yours.
Thank you.

Congrats!!!!
Thank you, Casey!
AWESOME!!!!! Time to celebrate.
Thanks, Mom.
I love the fireworks.
